Why We Use Maple
Maple is one of our favourite premium hardwoods for creating clean contrasts and highlighting the natural beauty of other timbers. We often combine Maple with darker hardwoods such as Black Walnut, European Walnut and Wenge to produce elegant handcrafted designs that celebrate the unique character of every wood species. Its light colouring adds balance and sophistication to many of our bespoke pieces.
Where You'll Find Maple
You'll often see maple incorporated into our handcrafted Chopping Boards, charcuterie boards and bespoke commissions, where its pale colouring provides a beautiful contrast against richer hardwoods. These carefully selected timber combinations create unique designs that showcase the craftsmanship and individuality behind every handmade product.
Caring for Maple
Like all premium hardwoods, maple benefits from regular maintenance to preserve its natural appearance and durability. Following our Wood Care Guide will help nourish the timber with food-safe oil, protect the surface and enhance its smooth finish. With proper care, maple will retain its elegant appearance while continuing to perform beautifully for many years.
